Hey guys! Just a little update...I'm still drawing. =). Hopefully will post a digital drawing tomorrow. But we'll see. Just wanted to post a blog post haha. Anyways. Just a quick update! =)

How I draw realistic hair.
been working on hair since 5:00pm. 1.) I start with the side of the pencil and lay a base shading down on the strand. 2.) I blend with tissues. 3.) Then I start with the strokes with my 4h pencil or HB. 4.) I blend with tissues. 5.) I layer with my 2b pencil and blend with tissues again. 6.) I make highlights with a small eraser. 7.) Then I shade with a 4b pencil. 8.) I blend with tissues. 9.) I continue to shade the shadows with a 6b pencil and blend with tissues and blending stumps. Finished the left side of the hair at 7:35pm.
